little help please...

    I've never really looked into it because i have i have a 2g, but my cousin just upgraded from a 1g (jailbroken) to a 8gig 3g and he wants to know if it can be jailbroken or not.

    It's a tethered Jailbreak, make sure you tell him that.

    he did the blackra1n jailbreak and it didn't work

    Then we need more details if he ran it correctly as you say.
    He ran it twice, correct?

    You need to tell us what happened.
    You can't just say "It didn't work." We need to know what exactly did it say - what happened - any information you can give us

    from what he said it showed the guys face on his ipod and everything but when the jailbreak finished nothing changed.

    I had the same problem, you need to run it twice, one to jailbreak, and once to boot

    thanks for your help guys. hes not on facebook anymore so ill tell him in the morning, i think this should fix it.
