Ok this might seem like a dumb question but back in the good old days when i had an ipod video i could play the games there while listening to my music at the same time, with the ipod touch, it just turns off my music and plays teh game's music instead, how do i make it so i hear what i want instead of the crapfest music that usually is in the apps?

Well if the game has music, the way Apple set it up, no the games music always wins. Even if you have it muted, or turned all the way down, you hear nothing instead of your music.
