    Is there anywhere on iTunes or directly on your iPod/iPhone that you can see a list of every app that you have purchased over the years? I have purchased and deleted many apps and would like to see a list of all of them. So can I see this somewhere?

    It's in your Apple Account Information - a button for Purchase History. So sign into your account and punch up purch. history.

    Code:
    #!/bin/bash
    APPS=*.ipa
    cd ~/Music/iTunes/Mobile\ Applications/
    n=0;
    for app in $APPS;
    	do echo counting $app; let n++; done
    echo You have $n apps

    For those with Macs.

    That's just all the apps stored on your iTunes. And we can just get that by right-clicking on an app then 'show in finder' and then it'll open the folder with all our IPAs. But he wants to know how to see all the app purchased, even in the past.

    Didn't read the entirety of the OP. Apologies.
