    Which one do I choose? whats the difference between tethered untethered semi tethered?

    I have a ipod 32gb 2.2.1 which one is the easiest?

    there's lots of tutorial here but which should I choose? does it really depends on what OS you're using? also, what's the meaning of tethered and untethered? sorry, just a newbie here ^_^

    tethered means you cannot turn your ipod back on after turning it off unless u have a tool to do so

    semi-tethered is a halfway shot you can turn your ipod back on but it has no jailbreak functions


    BEST VERSION
    untethered is the best it is a full jailbreak and you can turn ur ipod on and off with no side effects

    i just bought an new ipod touch, and can not get anywhere with it after downloading itunes at least a dozen times, screen still tells me to download itunes
    getting quite frustrated
