Besides the iPhone and iPad's SIM ejector tool (which is liquidmetal). I don't think we'll see a liquidmetal Apple product this year.

I didn't know it was liquidmetal. cool. what I use to eject the sim is a led pencil haha or anything long, thin, and pointy.
if a liquidmetal iphone came out sometime in the future and looks like the one in the image, I'd definitely buy it.

Ugh that iPhone design is beautiful. I know it's not real, but it looks so nice...
I hope they do use liquidmetal soon. I don't see why not, it's better than aluminium.

I don't really like the design pictured, it's not symmetrical like Apple devices usually are. Like others have stated, it looks like something Sony would produce. I do hope the next iPhone is made using liquidmetal, since the next iPhone is the one I'm getting.

I don't think that's the greatest idea, because the amount of force required to eject the SIM could break the lead in the pencil.

For laptops, I'd prefer aluminum I think...

Why? Isn't this stronger and more scratch resistant? What disadvantages does it have?

Even if they don't make it with liquid metal, I do hope that the next iPhone has a re-design, or a big step up in it's hardware (not like iPhone 4 to 4S), as I'm planning on waiting to get the next gen, not the 4S.

IDK about stronger, but my aluminum MBP hasn't gotten a scratch. Pretty scratch resistant. And the aluminum is just more comfortable, looks better IMO, etc.

Mine hasn't gotten a scratch either. But how would you know if its more comfortable? Unless you received a liquid metal mac :p
