Is their a way to get Linux on a iPod Touch 2nd 8GB Gen MC model? I know it is tethered and is limited because of that. Is their any type of app that at least runs like a live version of Linux. It has enough RAM to load a few distro's. Is their a way to do that yet or is their one that requires dualboot?

the 2g MC model is diffrent from the 2g MB model. So i think its the best to wait. You can try the unproven software but if you brick your ipod its your problem

Nope. Bochs is pretty much useless to any ipod or iphone besides the ipod touch 3g and 3gs
