Exactly what I need.... but I get the error "iRecovery: cannot execute binary file" halfway through iBoot. Ideas?
    ------------------double post merged------------------
Well I compiled iRecovery myself and now it works fine, but iBootr segfaults after the white screen part.

edit- it's actually my iRecovery segfaulting... hmm.

edit2- compiled again with a different irecovery source file and now all is good. Thanks a ton rmbell!

Thanks!! I've been meaning to set this up because i carry my Ubuntu netbook with me more often than my Windows 7 comp.

Hey zackman, do you have a link to the iRecovery source? Everytime search google for it i get just a list of HDD recovery programs =\

ivanlul, you may just need to recompile the iRecovery binary. You can just check it out of Chronic's svn repository.

If you need help with that, just remember that Google is your friend.

The new version of iRecovery segfaults on Linux.

I've been working on it on and off for a few days trying to figure out the problem. If anyone would like to do a backtrace and post that here I'd appreciate it, just to see if it different from what gdb gave me.

You could try redj0hnny. I've compiled it on Arch Linux and it hasn't given me any troubles.
