linux on ipad?

    is it or will it probably someday be possible to run things like ubuntu on ipads?^^

    If they have an ARM branch, yes...

    And the best ARM linux distro right now is Android, so I think you can see where that is headed...

    hm that would be cool but i meant really somehing like ubuntu, with onscreenkeyboard maybe..

    Well if devs release a bootrom exploit, it is possible to port OpeniBoot for iPad. And yes Ubuntu (or a self-made version of linux) can be run with ARM cpu, I remember when I helped someone with a linux version for wii

    ouh that would be interesting... but you said i need a modyfied version, obviously with multitouch support.. how could i do that?

    Write it yourself? And the iPad supports the Apple bluetooth keyboard right out of the box in case you are wondering...

    I cant.... at least I dont know how... I could get into it if somebody could give me a link or some kind of tutorial.

    I know the bluetooth support
