    Why's it a VMware image?

    So you won't have to go through partitioning crap and installing it. Its there, ready to be used at any time.

    "LINUX" SDK VMWare Image. Yes. You run it in VMWare Player. Have you never used VMWare apps before?

    haha, i just found this last night. Luckily i already have an ubuntu partition and just got it workin half an hour ago, works fine so far. Good job on finding, was about to post this too.

    in regards to a VMWARE image.. I have an VMPlayer image that runs MAC on windows XP ...
    Is there any image which has Xcode / iPhone emulator preinstalled .. ?

    Can't you just install xcode and the whole iphone/ipod SDK in the emulated OS?
