    Hi guys,

Have started using Youtube on touch, but having done few searches for sum of my fav. vids on the IE version of Youtube, it seems that not all the videos available on my PC's version, are available on the touch. Any ideas for overcoming this??

Yeah this is true... i'm not sure why, but i think it might have somwthing to do with the videos having copyright restrictions or something along that line.

Apple has to convert all the videos from flash into their quicktime format. Not easy to do with millions of videos. They'll all get there.

Yeah, it takes a while to convert all the videos on youtube. Videos are constantly being added and I am guessing apple has a system put in place to convert the videos, but like I said it takes a while to convert all of those videos.

Be aware also that the iPod search feature is different to the one on the actual youtube site... It doesn't use google's best match thingo from what I've been told so it's a little harder to find what you're looking for.

yeah, it makes sense that some time is needed before vids are converted to the apple format, especially as the video that I was looking for was only added to Youtube last night. It's a user-video though so don't think its to do with copyright.
