yeah right thats never gonna happen. There's seequpod which does the same thing except better. And you can download the music off their site.

I did figure out a way to save the file to your iPod. What you have to do is on seeqpod let the song load all the way, then in mobile finder go to /VAR/tmp/MediaCache(in settings you have to turn on system file access) then the file will be in there with no extension. Then you can either move it to an easier accesible file (I created a file in ~ called music) and ssh them to your computer. Or tou can email them to your email. After the file(s) are on the computer you just name them "song name".mp3 because they will still be called something like cachedmedia with some numbers after it. Then you put them in itunes and you're good to go.

yeah but considering you need a comp to do it why wouldnt you just download it on that. i think the idea is that it is limewire like the wifi store where you can listen right away and then it syncs back to your comp when you get home.

i don't see that happening. for one, limewire uses java..

plus, assuming you're talking about downloading music 'on the go', eg, using limewire on outside wifi connections...well it's just not nice to use other people's connections for that.

plus, syncing downloaded files back to your computer isn't simple like itunes. right now it'd still involve accessing your ipot's file system manually, in which case the seeqpod method above is basically the same thing.

seeqpod for now's pretty nice. i always have random songs pop into my head and then i just search them up and listen. 8/10 times i can find what i'm looking for. plus it's all http.

Wow, the only time I get porn on Limwire is when I search for it. Ussually I get whatever I search for.

It wouldn't be that hard to make a limewire app for the ipot it would just have to be able to write to the xml library.
