I've successfully jailbroken my iPad 16GB Wifi running factory firmware version 3.2.2 (7B500), model MB292C. Just plug your iPad into the computer, launch iTunes, run the Limera1n.exe on a Windows computer with administrative privileges and follow the on-screen instructions.

Some people report Limera1n isn't jailbreaking their device. Try to update and restore your device then run the jailbreak and it may work. If Limera1n works on your device or not, post details such as your OS, if it's 32 or 64 bit, model #, if your iPad came with 3.2.2, Wifi/3G and amount of storage. Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this.

    Success

Here's an example of someone successfully jailbreaking using Limera1n. Make sure you follow the exact steps this guy does: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-pdBHXwBvI

It won't work on the betas. @stealthbravo already confirmed it.

Yep. It just kicks the device into recovery mode, then tries to do something and fail. The end result is that... nothing happens. The device just gets a corrupted configuration and boots up like normal without Cydia.

Well, if you're on the beta firmwares because you are a developer, I don't think a jailbreak would be very necessary anyways...

If it's not on 4.2, it should work just fine. If it's on 4.2, the only problem you may run into is that it will require you to hold down home + power to get out of recovery mode. But other than that, nothing majorly upsetting.
