i wanted a jailbreak that worked not some half-assed slop.
has anyone succesfully jailbroken an iPod Touch 2nd/3rd MC model iPod touch?

now i have to download the 313mb firmware to restore it.

i just want to say i hate you geohot.

If she's already updated it once (using iTunes), the firmware stored somewhere like this:
    C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates
You shouldn't need to download it again

No offense, but if you would have looked around first, you would have noticed it's not working on 2gMC iPods...

Not to mention, I don't see anywhere on the limera1n website that specifically says it works on 2g...

If you're in DFU you can get out of it by holding power+home for 10 seconds. When you let it go it reboots.

    It's a hidden folder.

Just go Start > Run and copy this in: "%Userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates"
