If you haven't seen, nervegas of the Dev Team has posted screenshots of his jailbroken 1.1.3 iPhone over at Hackint0sh.
    See them here.

Also, Zibree of the Dev/Elite Teams has posted screenshots of his iPhone on his blog.

If you want to question these two, feel free to, but I don't see the need, both of these guys are highly respected.

P.S. Don't believe that the jailbreak is hardware related, I don't see how it really could be.
I've seen a working software jailbreak.

Thanks for pointing that out, I'm aware.
However, they are scattered amongst posts because people seem to be very disorganized..

I do not understand what Zibri's blog means when he says,

Is that something we might need in the jailbreak? Or is it something that is unrelated to Jailbreaking?

There are lotsa fake videos on YouTube about jailbroken 1.1.3. And perhaps this is real. But anyhow we'll still gotta wait until Apple release the SDK at the end of Feb before a jailbreaker is made public.

Anyone have a screenshot of any of the third-party apps actually running?

Its one thing to dump an app w/icon in, and edit the app plist to get it to show up. Its another to actually get 1.1.3 to run a non-blessed app (not saying it can't - just would be nice to see... would be great to see, actually.)

I may be wrong, but I think the location of applications on 1.1.3 is different to 1.1.1 or 1.1.2, they will install in the wrong place therefore apps will need to be made compatible to run on 1.1.3.

I also read that the programs no longer have the same root priveledges as they did before.

    Tim,

Maybe that is the decryption key for the DMG file inside the firmware.
