ok, so i hadnt really noticed it until today, but i was watching a movie on a car ride home on my ipod touch, and in the sunlight i noticed a small dot maybe a milimeter or 2 in diameter about 3/4 of an inch from the top left part of the front of my ipod touch.

I have an invisible shield on the front of my touch but it doesnt look like a bubble or anything, its perfectly circular and sort of looks like what an LED icon on a phone or something would look like turned off.

idk i just thought it was strange and if anyone had noticed spots or that spot in particular on their ipod touch.

(i can only see the spot in sunlight or bright light.)

Ambient light sensor isnt really nessecary on ipod touch because its not going to be brought up close to something (ex. ear for iphone) But i think that its there for a reason

It adjusts the backlight to give you the best mix of image brightness and battery life for your current surroundings.
