After I install libusb, it kills my usb ports, speakers, etc.

After a few minutes, I get a blue screen of death. I have to log in inside of safe mode and uninstall libusb.

If i try to log in normally, I get the blue screen.

After I uninstall libusb, my computer has to install a driver for an "unidentified device" (just more info)

Thanks in advance for the help.

go to the libusb file, click properties, then on one of the taps it should say compatibility mode, check that box and select Windows XP SP 2. That should fix it.

the only way i found is unattached the libusb driver from the usb devices and attached it when u need to boot ur ipod touch 2g.

no need to install or uninstall the setup.
just go to command prompt and run

    C:\Program Files\LibUSB-Win32\install-filter.exe -i (attach)
    C:\Program Files\LibUSB-Win32\install-filter.exe -u (unattach)

just make sure u unattach the libusb before u shutdown
