Hey, I was following the jailbreak tutorial on here, it seemed to be going well, then I installed libusb.

    BAM!!!! no keyboard. or mouse.

What do I do? Luckily I have a fully functional windows 7 partition which i am using now, so I should be able to delete or add necessary files.

Anways, I would appreciate some help.

    thanks

Boot back into safe mode. Go to My Computer/Local Disk c:/Program Files/LibUSB-Win32/ and click on the unins000 icon.

You can't get into safe mode because you cannot enter a password at the login screen.

It seems like the drivers are essentially gone for usb ports. I'll probably get PS/2 equipment tomorrow, which should work, but I was wondering if I could fix it from Windows 7.

    not helpful.

firstly, i'm pretty sure the directions said to install libusb.

secondly, i'll just borrow ps/2 input from my friend if i can't fix it from windows 7. no need for system restore.

OMG that happened to me today. All I did was reboot my computer and it BSOD'D. So I went to my last system back-up thing after rebooting again. Somthing like that, and then my computer worked. Except I was on Windows 7 through Boot Camp so I didn't worry at all that much.

I just realized I didn't run libusb in compatibility mode, and that's what caused this. My fault.

Okay firstly, yes..it did say to install, but your supposed to use it it Windows XP compatibility.

Secondly, wouldn't it just be easier to system restore to right before you installed it?

Oh, that type of system restore. I thought you were being snarky and telling me to reinstall vista.

So how do I do a system restore without my keyboard/mouse?
