Ok so ive installed libusb to exit my 3GS out of recovery because i was downgrading.

My fault i forgot to run it in compatibility mode so now .. ALL USB ports are dead.

    - the keyboard/mouse does not work in safe mode.
    - i do not have a restore point therefore i cannot system restore.

    all i have is:
    - access to command prompt via recovery disk

Does anyone have any idea on how I can remove libusb?

by the way it is a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

    Thanks.

Grab your Windows 7 DVD, and boot from the disk.
Go to Restore Windows, and select the restore point where you installed LibUsb. Worked for me!

Its been a while since I last used windows 7 or windows for that matter but I think I solved it by uninstalling it under programs and features then rolled back to the previous driver on all usb devices that it effected

To do this either get a PS/2 mouse or use your ipod/iphone as a trackpad if you got the right apps installed

thank god .. just fixed it.

went over to a neighbour .. luckily she had a ps/2 keyboard. uninstalled & it works.

i found out that pretty much if you install libusb without compatibility on windows 7 64-bit. there is no way other than ps/2.

my ethernet was disabled too when libusb hit.

    thanks everyone.
