Im not a noob, but i was wondering. To SSH into an ipod touch, do you need LIBUSB installed on your computer because i want to uninstall it but do you still need it to SSH into my ipod? I'm already jailbroken so do i need it to SSH?

No, you just need a FTP client installed on your Mac/PC, and OpenSSH installed on your iPod/iPhone.

    For Others..

Inside The SSHing Software It Asks You For An IP Address So Maybe Its Hinting It Does It Over Wifi Not USB.

So anyway yeah you dont need libUSB. You only need that for jailbreaking and repairing.

Actually you can SSH via USB (no libusb required). Read This-

    (works on iPod Touch aswell)
