Okay so many of us have heard apple is going to release an update software of ios4 to ios 4.0.1 to fix their so called fixable signal receptions issues. What do you guys think apple will change in the update firmware?

    1. Updated baseband so people lose their unlock
    2. Just so people cant downgrade back to ios4 since its jailbroken
    3. Add sbsettings of their own( i doubt they will but who knows)
    4. To "actually" fix apples iphone4 signal and discoloration issues

    1. Probably

    2. If it is a minor update, then existing tools will probably already work on 4.0.1

    3. No

    4. The signal thing seems more of a hardware issue. And the discoloration went away after a few days anyways so theres no need to fix it.

Well I just wish they would fix some bugs that I reported to apple.
Also backgrounds for the devices that didn't get it in original release

I was hoping maybe they would include something for iPod touch because ios work horribly with my 8 gig I hate it. The only new feature I got was folders which aren't worth the trouble

I think the signal is hardware because a similar thug happens when you touch the antena of a radio what happens? In that case better reception, this case I guess it hurts it... But it still might be better then the old signal, the signal was just worse, how much? Maybe it's still better then the 3GS?

I think they're probably going to fix a bunch of minor bugs. Not sure if they'll upgrade the baseband. But knowing apple they certainly will soon.

No matter what the next firmware will, it will always be eventually be jailbroken, its just a matter of time. I also doubt the sbsettings of their own-its just so unapplelike u know what i mean. And lastly, its not going to FIX the signal, but it will just make the bars more accurate. The update won'te be too big.

I wish they have a lite version of iOS 4 for iPhone 3G users.
