Lets say I have two iPod Touches (question)

    and i have one macbook. iPod A is synced to the itunes on my macbook, while iPod B has totally different data and user name etc on it; if i plug iPod B into my macbook will it sync so its virtually identical to iPod A?

    Nope the comp will recognize the iPod as two deffernt

    It will be a separate iPod, but if you set it up on the same the iTunes account, you can choose items in the library to add to Touch B.

    They will be recognized as separate devices but they will be synced identically if you have it set to sync automatically.

    In other words, don't plug iPod B in without disabling autosync unless you want to replace all the data on there with your Macbook's music library...

    you can select what you want from your library to stick on each ipod, you dont need to have the same things on them
