Best Graphics Cards for the Money

These are the best GPUs on the market in terms or price and performance.

Budget: Nvidia Geforce 9600GT, ATI Radeon HD4830

    Mid-range: ATI Radeon HD4850. Nvidia Geforce 9800 GTX+

    High-end: ATI Radeon HD4870, Nvidia Geforce 260 core 216

Dual-card: ATI Radeon HD4870x2, Nvidia Geforce GTX 295

This is all based on the latest benchmarks and statistics. No fanboyism involved. Anything lower than the cards listed above are not suited for modern gaming.

I will update this as time goes on.

    Ripoffs,

All 9000 series cards besides the 9600.

It is older, though. I'm talking about the latest cards. Nevermind, it's a laptop...

It may play games well now, however in the future it will not. It will last half a year. You didn't get your moneys worth, that's for sure. You should of gotten the 9600. Any 9500GT is not the best choice for enthusiast gaming, and 32 shaders limit performance in CUDA applications.
