Lenovo, China's biggest PC maker, has stated that it is developing a new gaming console in China this November.

The News comes according from China Daily.

The Console, named Ebox, will use the same motion sensing technology from Microsoft Kinect, tho I doubt it will as complex as Kinect, it may be a cheap way to get in the Controller-less gaming world.

Earlier this year, a Spin-off firm from Lenovo, named Beijing eedoo Technology Ltd, was formed to develop and market the console.

"We are the world's second company to produce a controller-Free games console, behind Microsoft." Said Beijing eedoo Technology president Jack Luo

"Our product is designed for family entertainment. Ebox may not have exquisite graphics, or extensive violence, but it can inspire family members to get off the couch and get some exercise"

Ebox is expected to cost more then the Nintendo Wii but slightly less then the Xbox 360. The company is also expected to sell more then one million units after the first two or three years.

Around 30 games will come free with the console and 16 unnamed developers have reportedly signed contracts to develop on the new console.

Even-thought he Xbox 360 is manufactured in China, the 360 is currently not available in the country. Microsoft is in talks with the Chinese government to allow the console to be sold there.

It is unclear weather or not the Ebox will be sold outside of China.

Don't mock, its for the Chinese. They don't have the 360 or kinect, at least this will keep them happy.

    Yh I know lol

They probably mean it will be like a closed ecosystem, like everything will be made for a family market.

For example, Dead Or Alive on the 3DS.

The 3DS uses a Gyroscope and accelerometer, so when you shake the console...lets just say something jiggles when your playing with girls.

Non of that stuff on the Ebox lol
