Anyone have any experience hijacking the backlight controls? I hooked up the LED leads on the backlight to a power supply and got it to light up white, but when I start the itouch, the screen turns black for a seconds, and then turns white. there is even a zener diode over the old leads to the backlight so the touch should see a load...

anyone here have hardware experience, or are you all a bunch of software geeks

I jsut leech off other peoples work here, while trying to help out whenever i can.
And I dont think people will appreciate you calling them "software geeks".
    Not a very nice comment.
A lot of these people have lives, and do this as a hobby, or just in their spare time.

actually no, On the contrary, Thanks for saying that!

    Yes Software Geeks.

But I know what you mean, you can probably make a device such as the speaker for the iPod and instead of speakers out LED Lights. Great Idea man!
