learning gimp

    so i just got gimp and the only thing ive ever had was windows paint lol but ive been playing around what do you think and tips suggestions places to learn

    Yeah GIMP's site is pretty helpful. I like the effects. Pretty cool.

    looks good. I don't think the Frisbee fanatic font fits the logo, but that's beside the point. My recommendation is to look up some tutorials. I found that 90% of the tutorials made for photoshop can be transfered to gimp with a little searching for the tools mentioned. google should help with that.

    That's really good. I've had GIMP for about a year and still cannot do anything like that without the aid of a guide

    I use what ever my sig said. Yeah I used it for 5 years. And I am learning still. I made a butt load of it.

    I have yet to try gimp because I was never offered to use it often. Plus I am afraid to try something new.
