    Front facing NFC sounds like a bit of a nightmare. Imagine scanning your card for example and then having to enter a PIN, or the possibility of scratching the screen.
    I would assume its just the positioning of the chip, having front facing NFC makes little sense

    Well, that's assuming that Apple uses it in the traditional way. But, if they do, then I agree - it'd be a nightmare.

    Hopefully NFC will be introduced into the iPhone, iPod Touch and any future iPads to create a user environment similar to Android Beam. Would be perfect for sharing files/media :D

    Uuh...what the hell is "NFC"? It would have been nice to have included that bit of info in the article for those who don't know...like me...

    That still means nothing to me. I had to google it to find out, with my point being that an article shouldn't assume people know what an abreviation means. Maybe even a quick example would have been nice for clarity.

    I'm surprised you've never heard of it, its all of the news recently. Even my nan has heard of it and she doesn't even have an internet connection nor a smartphone!
