    This is totally unique!

Want a totally retro and unique dock for your iPhone or iPod Touch? Well then the LDock is for you. It charges your device while being comfortably settled. Play music through your devices built in speakers or just sync music and apps to your device. Play apps on it or watch a video!

    Price: £7

Ask me if you are interested in buying one.

    Thanks,

    Will Evans Apps

Haha, it really isn't unique. There have been many other threads showing this, and rather than the other threads pricing the lego dock, they instead tell us how to make it.

280 basic lego bricks for 12.99 USD.
Going at that rate, a bucket is about £8.46 in the UK.

One of these stands probably have about an average of 15 pieces in (I can't be bothered adding up).

Working out the average rate of a single block of lego to be 0.33 pence, a single stand would cost just under 5p to make. At a price of £7 per stand, that's a profit of 6.95 or 14000%

So from one bucket you can make 18 stands, with a remainder of 10 pieces left over. These pieces could then be used to go on and make further stands, but I can't be bothered factoring these into my calculations.

The total costs of materials for 18 stands would be 90p (rounded up), and with a mark-up of £6.95 per individual stand, profits would be £125.10 per bucket.

For about the price of one of these "unique" stands, you could make 18. And a bit.

No if you add it up using single bricks and those colours and including a lead it comes to £6 so I make a £1 profit! + Names can be personalised onto the front facing angled brick which costs £1 so it makes it £7!

    -END OF-

You made a similar dock to mine or someone else's?

    Unique,

I meant as in the design!
