If I put a plist for a LaunchDaemon in the LaunchDaemon folder and put it's service in it's folder, will it launch on iPod startup, or do I have to do something else to make it do that?

There's one or two other places in root that handle daemons if I'm not mistaken. Little mentions in other .plists I Think. I couldn't tell you for sure.

Uhmmm if you don't find an answer on here, send a mail to the guys who wrote SBsettings. They made their own daemon, so they'd know.

Use Mobile Terminal or SSH to do these commands as root on your iPod.

cd /System/Library/LaunchDaemons (or wherever you put it)
    chmod 755 launchdaemon.plist
    launchctl load -w lauchdaemon.plist

where "launchdaemon.plist" is the plist you want to load.
Also, if you want to unload it, launchctl unload -w launchdaemon.plist will do the trick.
