    Hi,

I have a jailbroken iphone 3G (firmware 2.2). With the old iphone (1st generation) I could ssh into it and launch applications from there, a great way to debug stuffs because you can at least see the error messages. But when I try to launch apps from ssh in my iphone 3G, nothing works. If I log in as a mobile user, I get a "Killed" message immediately after launching an app. If I log in as root, I don't even get a message, and nothing happens on the SpringBoard.

What should I do to fix this? Thanks.

    Jade

Launching apps from SSH is not possible in 2.X.

Except when you use Erica's Utilities from Cydia.
