Latest Newbie with an issue!!

    Hi everyone!

    Can't believe there is a whole forum site on itouch!! But I'm delighted to have found it!

    I'm a regular poster on another general forum site and I have been looking for something different......so this is great!

    In the meantime, I do have a problem that I hope you can help with.
    My itouch 16gb first gen seems to work completely fine except for one thing. I click into itunes or the apps store, pick an app and try to sign in so I can download it but when I enter my user id/email and password, it won't allow me to click OK or even CANCEL.

    It's almost as if they are somewhat see-through. The spot where I should be able to click! I can log on to my e-mail ok, just can't get into the itunes or apps (also itunes).

    I hope that's enough information for someone to be able to help!

    try resetting your settings if it doesnt work restore

    I hate to be such an idiot but how do I restore?

    I have tried the reset already but no joy.

    you plug it into itunes and click restore if u no where the ipsw is then shift+restore

    Thanks iptlolage123 - I did the restore and still the problem remains. I'm using a new itunes account too so there shouldn't be any reason why itunes wouldn't allow me access.

    Any other ideas?
