I've installed it via Installer but when you open it it shows a chicken then closes again. Obviously there's more I need to do

Try running it again. If the same thing happens, you might need to uninstall it then reinstall it. Happened to me too.

dont know if this will help but this is the method i used to open it. I used finder to locae it in the applications and opened it there. Suddenly it worked for the first time. but i dont know could have just been a coincidence. Try it theres no harm in doing it.

This has been an issue with Installer since the beginning. Just keep opening it until it works. Superstition mandates you tap the chicken, but don't feel obligated to do so.

Also, once you get that Installed, download my fix for it from Installer.

Super got it going after about 12 retries. Want to put that Duracell battery on the lock page. Got the zip but where do I put it? Do they go in the Customizer folder? Also couldn't find the fix file for Customizer you mentioned in Installer. I did uninstall the Community Sources after I installed Customizer. Is it in there?

It's in the iPodTouchFans repository. Itshould be under Recent Packages. It's called "iPod Customize Carrier fix"

Go to /Applications/Customize.app and change every file to 755. Thats what I did.

    Opened once, then crashed.
    Opened again, then it worked.

Keep trying if you did all that and it didn't open.

    youtube.com/marketkid82 for inspiration.

change the permissions to 775. Reboot iPod or go to SMBPrefs and scroll to the bottom and hit Reset Springboard.
