im not very familiar with the differences that GHZ makes, this laptop is going to be used ONLY for school and internet browsing, nothing special.
Will it be slow and freezing when i use it for this? or is 1.3ghz considered slow for people who want to use it for different things like gaming.

It should be fine for general use, but still, you can get a laptop with a faster processor for that price. Even netbooks have a faster processor then that

I'd go for something else, Maybe spend 50$ more and get a faster machine.

    Maybe a Toshiba or Dell?

Not that there is anything wrong with that laptop, but in a few years it will be right down the chain in speed.

look online for deals, you will always find a better price. i got my dell inspiron 1525 for 500 bucks and its got 2gig of ram 160 harddrive and a dual core 2.somethin processor.

also got a 19 inch monitor cause come on, two monitors are always better than one.

Actually that is very good for a laptop he is looking at.

Those Ultralight laptops are really nice, but I would need a DVD drive in mine. USB would be to much of a hassle.
