This is prob the easiest way to have a toogle for the landscape status bar for 3.0 (if you get ifile from cydia you can do this without a computer)
-Just take the attached file and place it in System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app?English.lproj
-and when you want to turn it on just get rid of the _off at the end of the file
-and wen u want to turn it off just add something at the end of the name

I don't get it? Why would you want a landscape status bar? Doesn't it automatically rotate?

It does in Apps but not on the Springboard.
Changing in on the Springboard is for themes mostly.

It does work but it stay's on landscape...it doesn't rotate around when you turn your iPod Touch. Nice feature but I'm use to it being up top.

    Thanks,

Thanks for confirming But I also prefer it 320 by 20 not 480 by 20.
(Bar Size) Can't say top because its on top no matter the way you look.

Confirmed: this works. And a lot better than the 2.x.x landscape statusbar method, all that overwriting files crap was a pain in the butt.

    This method is very nice.
