i read in another forum a week ago about a landscape spring board. he said that it was in its beta stages and that you need to be really careful when coming out of a landscape app as it would wreck your arrangement. thats all i remember. i dont remember the forum or the name of the tweak(i have to assume its a tweak, like cydelete). so if anyone can enlighten me, that would be really cool.

Couldnt find spinboard either, for a long time, nevertheless you can still get a landscape springboard if you really want. http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168296 is for the status bar. Hide icon labels, edit or downloaded icons for landscape, make a dock on your background and youre done.

I had some problems with it with the lockscreen i believe, the status bar was not always in landscape so i quit using it. What awal1190 said.

I think this is the only way for now, some people will most likely work on a more user friendly package

The issue is that, after a respring, the status bar appears normal, and you have to lock + unlock to get it back to landscape. It doesn't bother me at all. I'm loving landscape.

I have not tried the landscape springboard yet, but I rarely use my ipod touch in landscape mode so I have a feeling I would not like it. I guess I won't know unless I try though...

I can't see a real use for it, the Touch fit conveniently in one hand right side up, but turned over it's just awkward.
