as the topic says, Im trying to play one of my games without scaling on because i don't want me buttons overlaying the screen. well it loads, i hear the sounds, but no video of the game. anyone encounter such things?
i have the exact same thing, i have a black screen and no video at all but audio comes in clear, i took a screen shot and the video was there in the picture but still not actually there. It does this with ALL of my games. i have tried re-installing and replacing bios and everything.
Guys I figured it out. You have to have Scaling turned on not off. Also, make sure it's on Skin #2 (GBA SP skin). I was told this by someone, and as soon as I applied it, it worked,
thats not figuring it out, thats changing it to full screen. Im trying to figure out how to do landscape without full screen to work. i have an itching suspicion it has to do with the landscape none-full screen images used. hmmm.
Oh, I get what you mean. Use Skin #2 with Landscape. It has transparent buttons. Kinda hard to see, though. I like to use Portrait because it's easier to see the buttons. Also, you have to have scaling on, no matter what. I tried every skin with Portrait or Landscape, with scaling on and off, and they only work with scaling on.
i have the same problem when i tried to use the gameboy sp landscape it just goes black and the sound is perfect
