This may be a stupid question, but I have a Toshiba Satellite A505-S6035 and it has no back lit keyboard. The Toshiba Satellite A505-S6040 has does have a back lit keyboard. I was wondering if I could somehow get a S6040 keyboard and install it onto my S6035. I have searched up a guide on how to take the keyboard out. I also searched ebayfor a keyboard but none of them say if the keyboard is from a S6040 and is back lit.
Also, I don't know how to install the keyboard xD
    Thank you for your help!

    I see lol
    But
    1. Is it possible in the first place?
    2. Are the ones on ebay backlit?
    3. Does the backlit keyboard have another area for connection?

hard telling, may even be a different connector! If you want to try it you can, but there is a 50/50 chance it could be the same connector and it might work!

I don't really want to spend $30 or so on a keyboard just to find out that it doesn't connect though =/

So I would need to find images of the keyboard connectors for both laptops to tell whether the were compatible or not?
In your opinion, do you think that they are compatible? xD

there u go u could do that, i personally think it would be different because unless the MB has separate power to the connecter it would not work
