well, my friend and i were talking about laptops today
and the i noted that if i could plug a keyboard into my ipod, i don't think i'd need a laptop
at least for school-related things (word processing)
now, i know you can't just get a USB connector to connect a keyboard USB to the pin connector USB and then it just works
since i don't have any of the smarts necessary, i figured i'd suggest that someone make a plug-in so that you could use a keyboard with your ipod

now, some of you probably are thinking its stupid to carry around a big clunky piece of plastic just to plug it in to something tiny like your ipod
well, the imac keyboards (super slim ones, at least) could easily fit into my backpack, and there are "portable" keyboards, such as the ones that roll up or are projected onto a flat surface

well, the idea came upon me and i thought i'd ask

Bumping is just a way to knock the thread back up to the top of the page, it's pretty much only used if someone likes the thread, but doesn't have much to say about it.

I like the idea, albeit, I probably wouldn't use it since I've gotten pretty quick with typing on my iPod Touch, I could definitely see the appeal.

You use your fingers for the keyboard, why not use your fingers to touch?

mostly just because a keyboard is faster
of course there are probably people who can type just as fast on their ipods, but, i am not one of those people and would like an alternative

And yeah i won't be able to help you dude not to good with coding nor do i want to get into that business yet. It shouldn't be to hard since you can get a usb keyboard then just need two female usb connectors, just the software problem will be a pain lol. good luck.
