So today, my ipod was charging at my friends house, i come back, and i have the Pink Screen of Death (3.0 firmware, legally, registered, stfu). So i come home to fix my iPod (1 hour bike ride, with no iPod), and go to my MacBook Uni-Body; No DFU mode. So i run the script to change the ktexts to the ones from 10.5.5 so it works again. Reboot MacBook, boom not keyboard or mouse. I have tried Safe Mode; nothing, i have tried holding Space while booting; nothing. The CDs are at my moms house, and i have no external keyboard or mice here at my dads to try that.

    No iPod, no Macbook. FML.

Ouch. You have the same error that someone else I know has. (EveryDay)

    He can't fix it either.

    Go away.

Alright i have my Install CDs now, and i'm on Terminal through them. I'm at "/var/root", how can i get to my own folder, or at least be able to run these sudo commands?

    Code:
    sudo rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleUSBHub.kext
You'll have to enter your administrator password here

    sudo rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/IOUSBCompositeDriver.kext

    sudo cp -R $HOME/Desktop/Backup_IOUSBFamily_kext_10_5_6/AppleUSBHub.kext /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/

    sudo cp -R $HOME/Desktop/Backup_IOUSBFamily_kext_10_5_6/IOUSBCompositeDriver.kext /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/

    sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleUSBHub.kext

    sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleUSBHub.kext

    sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/IOUSBCompositeDriver.kext

    sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/IOUSBCompositeDriver.kext

    sudo rm -r /System/Library/Extensions.mkext

    sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions

    sudo reboot

    Easy way

    EASY SOLUTION

Alright, i dont get all these scripts and sh*t for fixing it but i had the same EXACT problem

I also have a unibody mb and i installed that text to get it into dfu mode. restarted my computer and nothing worked. so i went to my local apple store with a genius and spent an hour there. he couldnt solve the problem but told me to go home and boot up the computer with the apple os x cd in while holding down C! After that your going to have to follow a few instructions on screen and eventually youll come up to a menu with 3 options

(not exact options but something like it)
    -upgrade os x
    -archive and install
    -and reinstall everything.

CLICK ON THE SECOND OPTION (archive and install)
what it does: reinstalls ALL the computer preferences files but keeps all YOUR FILES! (music, photos, programs, everything)

after that whole process it SHOULD work. if not do a full restart, sorry =/

I just re-installed and then used a Time Machine backup. It's all good now i suppose.
