hi guys, i have searched all over the internet and this forum for this, and noone seems to know / have the same problem.

i have a iPod Touch, and it is currently on 1.1.1 - i am having too much trouble to make upgrading worthwhile!

basically, my iPod needs a full system restore - all files need to be restored to factory default.

i say this because i am having numerous terminal and kernel problems - for example "cd:not found" - most of my /bin/ folder is missing!

if anyone has a backup which i could use, or a master-reset method, please share it with me!

    thanks,

thanks, but i have already tried that about 7 or 8 times, with no success... i need a full system restore - not the excuse for one that apple provides you with! - it doesn't check for missing files.. i'm not even sure if it contains them!

    any other ideas?

Maybe you shoul install "BSD Subsystem", the files you are missing are perhaps included.
