Keep Getting Error 6

    Hey I hope you all can help me winpwn works does all what its ment to but when i get into itunes and try and restore using the custome firmware I get an Error 6.

    I have tried everything i have unstaled iTunes then put it back on restarted my laptop, changed ports, unstaled winpwn put it back on added the dells, I get the boot logos and if i take it out of recovery mode i have the intaller there and the boot logos but then when i turn it off and back on it goes back into recovery mode and iTunes tells me to restore.

    I love to have the boot logos so if anyone can help me that be great.

    This is a bug, you will have to put it back in normal mode every time. Just try not to turn your iPod off for now.

    Repwn your ipod touch dude, and then, restore the custom ipsw with itunes(I use 7.5) it worked for me. I had the 6 error too

    okay thanks i will give that a go maybe on the 10th go it will work LOL.

    I upgraded itunes and was still seeing error 6. If you are using custom boot logos make sure they are under 100 kb. Once I changed that it worked like a charm.

    Yer, error 6 and error 10 are caused by incorrect boot images

    THE BOOT AND RECOVERY IMAGE NEED TO BE

    ".PNG, RGB or Grayscale & under 100kb" if any of these are wrong u will get ERROR 6!!

    also try when you try to restore in itunes just turn winpwn off before you do k hope that helped and try useing the unbug output aswell k
