I dont know what i did, but all the sudden, my ipod touch wont function well especially when I try to use mail and safari because whatever i try to do, it goes back to lock screen. I have tried turn it off and on, and also restarted it, but it does let me use anything, does anyone know how to fix this?

I think you changed some permissions -.-
now the best is you ssh into your itouch and goto the
var/mobile/Library/ directory and chmod 777 all files and directories in "Safari" and "MobileMail" and dont forget to give chmod 777 also to "safari" and "MobileMail" directory themselves

after that reboot itouch and everything should be fine

otherwise or if you dont wanna do it in this complicated way (in my eyes it just sounds complicated but it isnt^^) just restore in itunes

Can you tell me a little bit more about this procedure? I really dont wanna restore it. I know how to SSH into my itouch. but so i go to
    var/mobile/Library/directory
but what's chmod 777? is that some kind of file I need to download from somewhere or it's already in ipod?

    thanks

google/search iPTF for winscp and install that it's much easier than the way with the console^^
and: yes, chmod is already in ipod
