    Hello,
I have a JVC head unit and iPod adapter that allows the control of the iPod through the head unit...works very well with my old iPod. My question is why or what would prevent the iPod touch from working? The display on the head unit says "reading" and the display on the iPod touch shows "connected to external device" but thats all it will do.

Checked JVC's site and nothing so I figured just ask here.

    Thanks.

Well the iPod Touch is sometimes very Difficult, You always want it to do something like to enable disk use and you can't.

But that's why, Because it doesn't have disk use Enabled. And no there is no way yet to enable it.

You can do it using Total Commander or SSH but only on your computer.

Thank you for the quick response, yeah that makes sense...good answer. Guess I will just keep the iPod for that use.
