Just to clear something up...

    So basically you run ibricker on your pc to copy the 1.1.3 hacked firmware image to the media partition on your ipod touch. Your ipod isn't modded at all until you run the soft upgrade from installer, am I correct?

    anybody? I don't encourage bumping, but I have the time now to download and do all that stuff.

    Yes... but for it to work the firmware image has to be of the 1.1.3 iPhone firmware.

    Once you've run iBrickr and uploaded the image, you run the soft upgrade, then use this fix to unlock the extra features.

    For the Springboard fix, I have provided instructions for Windows on page 8.

    thanks, just wanted to make sure I had a get out of jail free card after running ibrickr.
