Is anyone running both vwallpaper and customize 2.0 together with vwallpaper working? Because I seriously can't get the darn thing to work so I am guessing it has something to do with customize?

I had it working, but it gobbled my battery so I got rid of vWallpaper, that and the 2 wallpapers were kinda lame.

try to reset your settings in the settings app, that worked for me!
Uninstall vWallpaper first, the reset your settings and then install vWallpaper again as it is described!
