    I have an iPhone 3G 4.0.1 Unlocked

I can update to 4.1 with tinyunbrella to save my baseband, then jailbreak with Redsn0w then unlock with Ultrasn0w?

    Thanks

Seems like a good plan to me.

How did you get a White iPhone 4 on 3.0?

So it works? All of the baseband preserve guides I saw talked about the iPhone 4 only. I'm just making sure it works on the iPhone 3G.

Wrong , with tinyumbrella you save your SHSH Blobs and not your Baseband, if you need a unlock you have to use a Custom Firmware created with the latest pwnagetool or wait 1 more day for Snowbreeze update.

Redsn0w does not block the Baseband update.

yeah i would just wait in your situation so you get an "a ok" on the unlock. you have about a day or two left till you can. besides it's not that big of a rush.
