My iPod Touch 2G is the first Touch I have had, so I never had to look into JB before I owned one. I was just wondering how long it took for the various dev people to release JB's for the other Apple devices, the iPhone 1G, 3G and the 1G iPod Touch.

Is the wait for an untehtered JB for the 2G Touch the longest yet?

This isnt a moan or attack at the devs or anything, im just wondering as im new to all of this

    The longest yet?
You make it sound like there have been at least 15 other iPod touches...
But yeah, I think it's the longest out of the 4 devices.

I've follow this stuff pretty close, and I think so yes.

The 1g iPhone was jailbroken by the end of August of the summer it was released, same with the 3g.

The Touch 1g was very similar to the iPhone 1g and I think it was only a few weeks.

The 2g however shipped the last week of sept. and was technically jailbroken in Dec. sometime but was not realeased until mid-january and even then it's not a full break.
So, yes I think the 2g takes the cake but don't quote my numbers, they're just off the top of my head.
