wow this is great. really im fine being tethered as long as my ipod doesnt crash.
Is it completely tethered? as in if you turn it off/ it crashes, you'll have to redo the necessary things.
Or is it if you turn off your ipod, you can turn it back on BUT the jailbreak stuff will be gone?
If you completely turn your iPod off...just run blackra1n again while its plugged into your pc. You do not have to reinstall anything, and all of your apps (both from itunes and from Cydia/Rock/etc) will still be there and fully functional.
which tutorial did you exactly do.. ijust bought mine 20 mins ago no joke....
no tutorial is really needed, just download blackra1n from www.blackra1n.com
Everything else is pretty straight forward.
Yea I didn't use a tutorial. It's pretty easy download then plug in, exit iTunes, make it rain. I would close iTunes I had to reboot after downloading winterboard and iTunes was open and wouldn't jailbreak. Not to hard to fix just close iTunes the rerun blackra1n
EDIT: I'm gonna try this right now
Yeah, it works. Only problem now is SSH seems to be brokez.
i just got my touch 3g yesterday and jailbroke it the same day it was so easy and i got the ssh to work..
my ssh works fine. i had a little trouble as my ip address changes from each part of the house im in. weird!
