So, I picked up a VM Intercept today. First Android device and now I'm lost. I installed a custom kernal that rooted the thing but now what? And is there a SSH type thing to browse the system?

QuickSSH on the market. What did you root for if you didn't even know what to do with it?

    I figured root=jailbreak, so I did it.

Do you like the Intercept on VM? I'm going to get one next year.

Dude. Absolutely LOVE IT. Android is a whole different animal compared to iOS. I got wireless tethering, Winamp, last.fm. And the hacking you can tdo to it is almost unlimited. You wont regret it! It may not be the best Android phone out there, but it is the best value.

The best app for browsing the system is ASTRO File Manager. It's pretty great. I love android.

Ugh...I am crazy excited about getting one now. A friend of my mom had one from sprint and she let me play with it a little. I absolutely loved it. I have just been trying to decide whether i should get the Intercept or the Blackberry Curve 8530, but now I think I've made up my mind about it.
