My one question is should i jailbreak?
My touch is jailbroken, but are there any risks of buggering a iphone up?
If i should, the salesman in O2 activated it for me, should this be a problem or not?

I Jailbroke my iPhone the second I got home, lol. The way iPhones are Jailbroken through Pwnage is completely safe since it doesn't (yet) flash the modem firmware (baseband) of the 3G. In the old days of the Zibri Jailbreak when the baseband was flashed on the 2G, there was a small chance that the modem on a phone could be corrupted and the wifi antenna on an iPod/Phone could be rendered useless.

I'm also curious, what FW did the iPhone come with OTB?

    You should totally jailbreak.

I think the activation might go away but I think you can just use Yellowsn0w to activate it yourself.

)... I looked a couple things up and then Jailbroke it
No effects what so ever.. It automatically activates your good to go.
Id definitely say go for it!

Im also curious what FW it came with? Mine on AT&T came with 2.2 so thats where Im staying to preserve the baseband

... I dont wanna mess with 2.2.1 and taking out the baseband update even though i know its simple.

But yeah.. I have quite a few themes, apps, and much more thats totally worth the jailbreak

and it will not harm your device at all
