This thing blasted me away. For under $1000, I can seemingly run any game with a perfectly smooth framerate at the highest quality. So far I've tried Crysis, Mirror's Edge, Bioshock and Half Life 2. All with the highest resolution and maxed out settings.

It comes with a GeForce 9800m GS 512mb, 4GB of RAM and a 64bit OS, Intel dualcore 2.2GHz processor which can be tunes up to 2.4GHz running in turbo mode, no tweaks required. This thing runs games better than my Xbox 360.

And to be honest, it looks badass too. It has a secondary screen just below the LCD screen that shows battery life, memory, CPU usage, and a customized message (mine is currently set to "All Your Bases Are Belong To Us."). It comes with a very sturdy couple of hinges that keep the screen up nicely at any angle, and hard yet smooth plastic covering that has discrete flames running into a lit up logo in the center, along with lit up (or flashing) lines on each side of the LCD screen.

Trust me, it's bigger than it looks. This thing has a 1366 x 736 display, a proud widescreen.

If anyone here is looking for a great laptop that can perform and deliver, this one has blown my mind away and I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon.

    Portability?

Nice, I want a new lappy. Replace my not to old Asus to something with a little more power. 1366x768 is a little small for me though. My friend recently got an XPS laptop, 1900x1200 and 2 cards in SLI. Too lazy to check with him or to look it up lol.

Congratulations! How big's the screen? I'm gonna guess 17 inches.

"Gaming" and "Laptop" don't go well next to each other.

    Unless the sentence is:
"There is no way a gaming laptop can exist"
